Cochin – Munnar – Thekkady – Aleppy: 6 Nights and 7 days
Day 01 : Cochin (Arrival) On arrival at the Airport/Railway Station in Cochin, Kerala you will be met and transferred to the Hotel.Afternoon we go across the Cochin Harbour, which takes you to the gateway of the Arabian Sea. On arrival at Fort Cochin, proceed on a sight seeing tour, which includes a visit to the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, etc. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02 : Cochin – Munnar (Approx. 140 Kms./ 04 hrs.) Morning after breakfast, check- out from the hotel & embark on a fascinating journey to Munnar enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations enroute. On arrival, check in at Hotel/ Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure trekking around the estate. Overnight stay.
Day 03 : Munnar :Morning after breakfast sight seeing tour of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, the Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market etc… Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 04 : Munnar – Thekkady (Approx. 110 Kms./ 03 hrs.)After an early breakfast, proceed to the Wildlife Sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady and check – in to the Hotel/Resort. Go on an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of Wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Later, come back to the hotel; relax & enjoy your stay overnight.
Day 05 Day 4 : Thekkady – Alleppey Houseboat (Approx 145 km / 4 hrs)
Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey , where you will be booked to stay overnight on the Houseboat. Staying in Houseboat is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, evening tea & snacks, dinner next day breakfast and will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 06 Alleppey – Kochi – Overseas: After breakfast drive to Kochi Airport (Approx 58 kms/ 1 hrs ) minutes drive approximately) for your flight to your onward destination.
